Outer rotor brushless dc motor a rotor inside and a much higher moment of inertia of the rotor (on the main quality is concentrated in the shell of the rotor).

Unlike traditional motors, the BLDC rotor in an outer rotor motor is designed to spin around the stator, which remains stationary. This configuration allows for a larger rotor surface area, which can generate more torque for a given current and size, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring high power density.
The term "brushless rotor" is often used to describe the rotor of BLDC motors because they do not require brushes for commutation as in brushed motors. The absence of brushes means there is less friction and wear, which leads to a longer life span and lower maintenance for the motor.
